Couldn’t agree more Kalen. It’s tough as a parent to maintain consistency in our behavior, let alone teach our kids. Even if we’re not perfect, we can still set up kiddos up for success!!

Complaining is a huge one!

I agree that more is caught than taught. I think we all know that internally, but we don’t think about it actionably. And then of course, as parents we can all get tired and lazy, which leads to slacking on our job of equipping our kids.

That’s a great point Lily!! Lot’s of big kids out there who haven’t yet mastered the art and discipline of delayed gratification.

Being a parent ROCKS!! And don’t worry about not having a lot of widsom…in your kids’ eyes you’re an expert in everything…at least until they turn 3.

That’s a great point Zach! Perfect analogy. Again, it all comes down to doing hard things to get a payoff in the future…delaying gratification.
