I got to make a similar call a few years ago. We were passing through Chicago when we got rear-ended in stop-and-go traffic on the interstate. Miraculously, the bumpers matched up exactly and there was no apparent damage. Still, we exchanged info and I said that I’d let him know once we had a chance to check things out. In the end, all was good and I made the call to a very nervous, but ultimately relieved gentleman.

Yeah, I have car insurance but was hoping not to use it. And more so that it wouldn’t come out to some ridiculous cost to fix the car and my premiums would go up by a lot :( But luckily I don’t have to worry anymore – woo!
