I use Black Friday to purchase things I was already going to buy but held off waiting for a deal-( but I shop from the comfort of my computer). I needed a specific type of fabric for a project ( and that fabric is not cheap) that usually is not discounted- but I found a Black Friday sale that saved me so much money. THAT is what frugal people do.

I bought two sweaters at Old Navy for $30 (that’s the total including our crazy almost 10% sales tax in TN) late in the day. I am a big fan of small business Saturday though. Gotta support the little guy in my little town to reinforce the local economy. Also – they usually carry way cooler stuff :)

I’ve always been interested in old railroad bonds… but those are more collector’s items than investments (or both?) nowadays.
